One of the challenges for organizations today is finding ways to share data and statistics, performance metrics and successes in a way that is easily understood by those outside the organization.

Through InnovateOhio, under the leadership of the DeWine administration, state agencies are encouraged to use technology and data to improve services, reduce cost and spur innovation. To this end, Ohio EPA has started to build performance dashboards using data and information from our various Agency divisions.

Our goal with these dashboards is to help convey the important work we do and the progress we are making toward environmental improvements and operational efficiency. Being more transparent and communicative on how we function and the work we perform will help us build better connections with our stakeholders. It will also help us identify areas for improvement and growth.
