Whitewater River Watershed
The Whitewater River watershed is located in southwestern Ohio. The watershed drains a total of 144 square miles in Ohio and flows through all or part of four counties. Major municipalities partially or fully in the watershed include Harrison, New Paris and Hollansburg.
The northern portion of the watershed is predominantly comprised of cultivated crops with pockets of pasture and hay land and forest. The southern portion of the watershed is primarily forest and pasture and hay land with some urban development and cultivated crops.
