Industrial Stormwater - General Permit
This general permit covers new and existing point source discharges of stormwater associated with industrial activity to surface waters of the State. The general permit requires the development and implementation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). The purpose of implementing an SWPPP is to minimize or eliminate the potential for contamination of stormwater by industrial activities.

Permit Guidance, Compliance and Support
OHR000006 requires NOIs to be submitted electronically using Ohio EPA's electronic application forms which are available through Ohio EPA's eBusiness Center. Ohio EPA mailed renewal notifications to all existing permitted facilities on June 14, 2017. The renewal notification provided instructions for renewing coverage using Ohio EPA's electronic application forms. Facilities were required to renew their coverage by Sept. 22, 2017.
