The Office of Fiscal Administration provides fiscal services to the Agency including purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, grants administration, budgeting, economic analysis and audit coordination. The office also publishes Sewer and Water Rate Surveys that show residential rates for these services throughout Ohio.

Online Payment Options

Most invoices issued by Ohio EPA may be paid through our online eBusiness Center with a credit card or by debiting your bank account through the Automated Clearing House (ACH). Payments will appear on your statement with identifiable merchant names based on the type of service provided.

  • Automated Clearing House - There is no service fee for ACH payments. ACH payments do require an Ohio EPA eBusiness Center Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you have a PIN for another eBusiness Center service, that same PIN may be used to pay by ACH. If you do not have a PIN, one may be obtained now by verifying your identification in the eBusiness Center.
  • MasterCard, VISA or Discover Credit Card - A service fee of 1.9% of the total amount owed will be charged for payments made by credit card.

Sewer and Water Rate Surveys

The Economic Analysis Unit annually surveys sewer and water rates charged by Ohio cities, villages and special districts during the prior calendar year. Annual rates are calculated for residential customers within municipal limits given an assumed monthly water consumption level of 7,756 gallons (or 1,037 cubic feet) per household. Rate calculations do not include charges levied through income or property taxes.

Is your community missing from the survey? Do you have a question for the next survey? To request Sewer and Water Rate Surveys dated prior to year 2003 or for other questions, please use our online form.
