Tax Exemption Program
The air and noise pollution control tax exemption program was originally established by legislation in 1963. The program allows companies to receive tax exemptions for the installation of air or noise pollution control property and is administered by the Ohio Department of Taxation.
As part of the tax exemption application process, Ohio EPA is required to provide a technical evaluation and review of any property sought for tax exemption status. Contact Leah Kessler (614) 644-3684 for additional technical information.
All other information regarding application forms, procedures and regulations is available from the Ohio Department of Taxation.
