The Ohio Materials Marketplace is a free online platform helping businesses and organizations find reuse and recycling solutions for disposing or acquiring waste and by-product materials. Many of the materials available are free. Join the Ohio Materials Marketplace (OMM) to see what's available.
The online network helps facilitate cross-industry materials reuse among Ohio companies and organizations. One organization’s hard-to-recycle wastes and by-products can become another organization’s raw material. In addition to diverting waste from landfills, these recovery activities generate cost savings and create new jobs and business opportunities. Participation is open to any company or organization with operations in Ohio.
Examples of materials listed on OMM include: carboard cores used in packaging; laboratory glassware; and electroplating chemicals.
Please visit Ohio.MaterialsMarketplace.org for more information or to participate. If you have questions or need help, please contact Frank Basting at Frank.Basting@epa.ohio.gov or (614) 644-3544.
