Ohio Lake Erie Commission to Hold Quarterly Meeting
The Ohio Lake Erie Commission has rescheduled its spring quarterly meeting on Friday, April 17, 2020, at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held through a webinar format, and the public can register to participate through the webinar application.
Individuals participating may submit comments or questions through the webinar during the public comment portion of the meeting. To attend this online meeting, participants will need to register here.
The Commission will be providing updates on the Domestic Action Plan, Lake Erie Protection and Restoration Plan and other Lake Erie Program updates.
All Commission meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period.
The Ohio Lake Erie Commission was established for the purpose of preserving Lake Erie's natural resources, protecting the quality of its waters and ecosystem, and promoting economic development in the region. The director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) serves as the commission's chairman. Additional members include the directors of the state departments of Transportation, Health, Development Services, Agriculture, Natural Resources, and seven additional members of the public appointed by the governor.
