OBD Clearinghouse

To facilitate better understanding of On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) technology, the Center for Automotive Science & Technology at Weber State University has established the National OBD Clearing House through an US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) grant.

 

Look Up Diagnostic Trouble Codes

OBD-Codes.com lets you search for generic OBD-II trouble codes or by manufacturer specific trouble codes. 

 

Emissions Fixes for 21 Problem Vehicles

The Denver, Colorado testing program provides this guide to repairing emissions problems on 21 different makes and models of vehicles. (Note: these fixes were developed for high altitude so be careful with the advice on re-jetting at Ohio altitudes.)

 

NCVECS OBD II Drive Trace Information

The National Center for Vehicle Emissions Control and Safety at Colorado State University publishes a software program on CD with all OBD II drive trace information known at this time.
